On September 29, 2015, the expert team organized by CNOOC Shenzhen Branch reviewed the project of Fracture Identification Study in Panyu Gas fields undertaken by PST Service Corp.
After listened to the project reports delivered by the project team leader, the expert team came to agreement that the project passed the final acceptance.
This project first uses the seismic data, well logging, mud logging and core data, and guided by post-stack forward modeling, and combines the seismic data of PSTM and PSDM, to carry out the full area 630km2 senior geometric attribute study to predict the small fault,
then utilizes the pre-stack CRP and the optimized CMP gathers data to carry out anisotropy study. Then adopts the CRP gathers to carry out pre-stack joint inversion, to analysis the lithology and compressive strength in Panyu area. At the same time to obtain the variation conditions of pore
pressure of target stratum through pressure prediction. At the end, based on the above research results and incorporated the mud leak conditions of Well A2H, A3H, A4H in PY35-2 Well area, to summarize the key controlling factors of mud leak, to provide an accurate and strong pre-drilling risk
warning for the implementation of PY 34-1 gas fields.
The experts from the acceptance team believed that all of the research results had completed all the geological tasks as set forth in this Contact, and pointed out that the fundamental work is solid, the content of the achievements report is rich, also the viewpoint is very clear,
which will play a very important role in guiding the design and deploy of the horizontal well in PY gas fields.
In consideration of the high project quality, the experts were very satisfied with the project, they believed it will accumulate rich experience for COOOC Shenzhen Branch in fracture identification study, this project also won the further cooperation intention to company.
Hereby extend our warm congratulations to team leader Mr.Guo Lei, and the team members such as Mr. Wang Hui, Mr. Zhu Fan, Ms. Zhang Congcong, Mr. Wei Penghui and Ms. Yang Jingjing. Meanwhile to give our sincerely thanks to the experts, leaders and the staff member from CNOOC Shenzhen branch for theirs strongly support.
